not to be That Guy but they stated that w rly old transformers their sentio metallico ie the shit theyre made of turns into dust after they die

Honestly thanks for correcting me, I didn’t know that at all. Now I won’t go spouting that when I’m like “They could be out there!!!!”.

Although I’m going to stick with my original theory because of A) Denial and B) the general presentation of the Guiding Hand in the story. I mean Adaptus wasn’t even using his own body, so who knows how much a physical form really means to them still.

(Feel free to correct me on this as well, though)

I’m a little curious though; since the comic’s ending, what are you gonna do next? I figure you’re gonna leave the blog up, but are you gonna try and continue posting here, or move on to something else?

This is something I’ve been thinking/talking about ever since it was announced Lost Light was ending, and tbh I’m still not sure yet. It really depends on if Rung shows up in any more continuities or not, because if he does I will move on to those. If he doesn’t, however, I will probably make a randomized queue of previous pics as well as perhaps occassionally post/reblog Rung-themed memes, fanart, and other similar content.

Of course I’m always up for suggestions! ❤

I’ve just caught up with LL24, and I’ve been thinking about Rung’s role in this grand finale. Isn’t it both sad and amazing to know that he still is “useless”? As God he is ability is to create life from nothing and regenerate, which are of course great powers, but he could only save his friends by sacrificing himself to provide key items the heroes need. So he is a great but god… yet if you think about it, life is quite useless itself, and that’s why it is beautiful.

Agreed with all of the above ^^ As Cyclonus (my other favorite lad) said it best

Know what would break me? If Primus appears in the last issue. As in, not the Rung we all know, but Primus, free from mortality. He recognizes the Lost Light crew, and even makes it clear that he does still care about them, but refuses to stay or assist them further. He is not Rung anymore, and he will never be again. He’s a God, and he cannot play favorites. The most he will do is bring back Skids and tell them that he’s proud of them before he leaves. (Forever? Maybe. Maybe not.)

It would break me because I prefer the idea of their main god being a tiny orange twink, and I think the idea that he’s out their as a god-entity rather than a mortal is pretty easy to figure out. Also as nice as it would be to get Skids back, I really hope the last issue is used to tie up loose ends with the rest of the characters. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

You know, JRo has said that, unless we see them die on-panel, that we can consider them alive. So it’s all good. Rung probably just got booted out of the Universe or something like that. And since Primus exists in every universe except Transformers Animated (long story), he’ll be fine. (I expect him to return next issue.)

In all honesty I firmly believe he and the Guiding Hand are out there somewhere… Not saying they’re going to come back or anything, but the method JRo uses to show that they are “dead” is so……Not concrete and vague? Like NO other TFs have turned to dust after dying, and the fact that they turn to dust reminds me of an illusion or costume being taken off. It makes me think that perhaps their physical forms are dead but their consciousness or souls or sparks or whatever are out there, in that weird way most media depicts gods.
